What is HOSA?

HOSA-Future Health Professionals is an international student organization for students interested in healthcare careers. Through HOSA, you'll:

• Compete in healthcare skill competitions at state and national levels
• Learn from healthcare professionals and industry experts
• Lead through chapter and state officer opportunities
• Serve your community through health education and service projects
• Connect with peers who share your passion for healthcare
• Explore diverse career paths from physicians to public health administrators

Who Can Join?

• Middle School Students (grades 6-8): Explore healthcare careers early and build a foundation for future success
• Secondary School Students (grades 9-12): Prepare for college, compete at advanced levels, and develop professional skills
• All Interests Welcome: You don't need to know exactly what healthcare career you want—HOSA helps you discover your path

Step 2: Connect with Your Chapter Advisor

Reach out to the advisor listed for your school's chapter. They'll provide information about meetings, membership fees, and how to get started.

Step 3: Get Involved
