Event Types

DC HOSA offers a 48 events to choose from (5 of the 15 NGL-ATC events and 43 of the 81 unique traditional competitive events!). They fall into three categories - tests, skills, and presentations - some are individual, some require a partner, and some require a group.

NGL-ATC Events

Competitors may:

  1. Participate in TWO NGL-ATC events at SLC. 
  2. ILC Participants receive one free test, however, they may sit for as many NGL-ATC events as they wish, if the tests are paid for ($20 each), and if the competitor can logistically sit to test in events for which they are registered.

Competitive Events

Competitors may enter only TWO regular competitive event at the SLC.

Please note, at the ILC, you may only enter ONE regular event.

Recognition category and Special events

Competitors may participate in as many Recognition Category Events as they wish.
