fall 2026 Spotlight: Calvin Coolidge High School

At DC HOSA, we aim to offer a range of opportunities to BUILD community. Our Fall Semester focused on obtaining donations for our "Fill the Fridge" community service project, in partnership with Roots for Life, DC.  DC HOSA State Secretary, Lex Zarwell, planned, organized, and implemented this state wide service project. 

Our GOLDEN FRIDGE AWARD for community impact leadership, went to Coolidge High School. Through strategic planning, sustained student engagement, and a deep commitment to service, this chapter collected 2,845 essential items, directly supporting food access and dignity across Washington, D.C. in partnership with Roots for Life.
